Our WA story
In 1977, the family established Show West in Perth to bring joy and entertainment to families across WA. Our vision was to provide state-wide events with quality rides and fairground stall games so families could create lasting memories together. Our rides have always catered for children and adults alike, those that enjoy a fun game of skill and those that like an adrenaline rush! Today we offer, good old fashioned family fun, but with all the spectacular benefits of engineering, modern technology, lighting and sound! Over 40 years later, Show West is one of the leading show rides and games hire specialists in the business. We are a proud West Australian family business and Cameron and Jennie continue to work hard to give you a fantastic choice of rides and games to make your event dazzle and delight!
Safety at the heart of our business
Over four decades, we have worked with some of the leading fairground ride manufacturers and ensure that all our attractions provide the highest quality of service and safety. We supply our own power, and all our equipment is tested, maintained and serviced locally in our maintenance and storage warehouse in Perth, by qualified and experienced engineers. We also pride ourselves on our trained staff. All our staff are fully uniformed in Show West shirts, jumpers, and hats and we insist on closed shoes for safety. As a result, you will always be able to see who the Show West ride operator is. All of our ride controllers are fully trained, carry out regular safety checks, and are fun and friendly to make sure that you have a great time! We are an AM-SAFE accredited ‘Credentialed Operator’ which recognises strict high safety standards, and a member of the Australian Amusement, Leisure and Recreation Association Inc (AALARA).
